ASHLAND — Lexington’s furious fourth-quarter rally was just enough to edge Ashland 73-71 in an Ohio Cardinal Conference boys basketball game on Friday night at Arrow Arena.
Baden Forup topped the Minutemen with 20 points and seven rebounds. Elijah Hudson added 13 points and six rebounds, while Hudson Moore posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.
Grayson Steury paced Ashland by hitting four treys and pumping in 28 points. Luke Denbow notched 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists and Landon McFrederick chipped in 10 points.Â
The two teams battled to a 17-17 tie through the first quarter, before Ashland grabbed a 36-30 advantage at halftime.
The Arrows upped the advantage to 56-49 through three periods, but Lexington dominated the final eight minutes with a 24-15 scoring advantage.
