JEROMESVILLE — Hillsdale FFA’s Ag Sales team competed at the District 2 Ag Sales Career Development Event on March 1 at Northwestern High School.
The Hillsdale FFA Ag Sales team placed one and will compete at the state competition on March 14.
The purpose of the Ag Sale Contest is to market agricultural products to profitability in today’s competitive economy, and agricultural sales play a major role in the marketing process.
Through this CDE, students will have the opportunity to demonstrate skills in sales by participating in a wide range of activities oriented around the total sales process.
Ag sales introduces students to the potential of Ag sales as a career and to prepare better future consumers.
Sales representatives in many companies are among the most unique jobs in agribusiness.
