ASHLAND -- The Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has announced that Amy Daubenspeck has agreed to accept the position of Interim Director.
Daubenspeck is currently the Executive Director of the Ashland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), a division of the Chamber, and has been with the organization for 18-1/2 years. She will maintain her role with CVB and oversee the rest of the Chamber’s operations during this interim period, while the Board of Directors considers the best path forward in our constantly changing world.
A press release stated that the Chamber would like to thank Barbie Lange for the great work she has done as the President of the Chamber.
"Many of you have no doubt seen her heartfelt and sincere letter to Members explaining her decision to step down. The Board wants to express our appreciation for Barbie as she embarks on the next chapter of her life. Her energy and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.
