ASHLAND – There is a new holiday music station in north central Ohio as iHeartMedia Ashland/Mansfield announced Friday the debut of the new Christmas 107.7 FM (WXXF).
The new station will broadcast the greatest Christmas songs of all time including fan favorites such as “Holly Jolly Christmas” from Burl Ives, “It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” from Andy Williams and “All I Want for Christmas” from Mariah Carey, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Dec. 25.
WXXF – FM 107.7 will also debut a new format for Ohio listeners on December 26 that will be announced soon. Rock listeners can continue to tune into 102.3 The Fox, which will remain Mid-Ohio’s Rock Station carrying “Rover’s Morning Glory” in the morning, and the best rock music in Ohio all day, every day.
“It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas in Ohio,” said Keith Hotchkiss, President of iHeartMedia’s North Ohio region. “We are thrilled to bring all Christmas music to Mid-Ohio, and are extremely excited to unveil a brand new station on Dec. 26.
