ASHLAND -- Spire Advertising is accepting registrations for “The Hiring Workshop” on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
“Many local leaders tell us that hiring good workers is their biggest obstacle to growth,” said Jeremy Harrison, Founder and CEO of Spire.
At the morning workshop, Harrison and other members of the Spire team will present a detailed, proven plan to attract better job applicants. They will share best practices of fast-growing Ohio businesses who are successfully hiring a variety of workers, including business professionals, truck drivers, fast food workers, nurses, skilled tradesmen, and more.
Key topics of discussion will be: 1) What Motivates Job Seekers Most in 2019?; 2) Five Hiring Process Mistakes That Scare Away Workers; and 3) Social Media Hiring Strategies.
The workshop will take place Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 8 to 11 a.m. at Ashland University’s John C. Myers Convocation Center, Trustee Room, 638 Jefferson St., Ashland. Tickets are $75 and include breakfast, a training booklet, and swipe-and-deploy worksheets and templates.
Fifty seats are available, and the limit is two tickets per organization. Visit thehiringworkshop.com to register online or call Spire’s North Central Ohio office at 419-496-4212.
