Fredericktown Tomato Show kicks off Wednesday: Here’s the full schedule of events

FREDERICKTOWN — One of Knox County’s most heralded autumn traditions returns this week after a one-year pandemic hiatus.

The Fredericktown Tomato Show is back, beginning Wednesday and concluding Saturday night in downtown Fredericktown. It will include tomato products, the Little Miss Tomato Contest, corn hole, live entertainment and more.

Wednesday, Sept. 8

— Enter fresh vegetables, canned goods, baked goods, tomatoes and tomato products — 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (tent at Main Street and College Street)

— Register for Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull (4- and 5-year-olds) — 5 p.m. (main stage)

— Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull (4- and 5-year-olds) — 5:30 p.m. (main stage)

— Main Street Free Press Museum – tours and demonstration — 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
