ASHLAND — Nominations are still being accepted for Ashland County Women of Achievement class of 2022.

Nomination forms may be picked up at the Ashland Public Library, Loudonville Public Library, other local businesses, and on Facebook: Ashland County Ohio Women of Achievement. Application deadline is Sept. 30, 2022.

Former recipients, friends, employees and family members are encouraged to nominate women who have reached beyond themselves to contribute substantially to the quality of life in Ashland County through involvement with family, career, community and social issues.

A one page description of the nominee, written by a non-family member may be submitted for consideration to the same address.

A cash award will be given to the winning recipient at the annual ceremony Nov. 3, 2022 at Mount Vernon Estate Events located at 1041 US 250 Ashland, Ohio. Social begins at 6:30 p.m. with ceremony at 7 p.m.

Kay Conrad is remembered each year through her efforts to recognize and lift Ashland County women. Conrad established the organization in 1991 and led it to official nonprofit status. Ashland County Women of Achievement has founder-member status with the Ashland County Community Foundation.

“We are pleased to see Kay Conrad’s legacy live on through this organization,” organizers said.
