1. The winter wonderland on Township Road 1353

This display at 1344 Township Road 1353 might be the out to beat in all of Ashland County.

"My two favorite are my parents house at 1542 S. Baney Road and also my brother’s at 1344 Twp 1353," said Nikki Johnson. "I like to think of my Dad and brother as Santa’s helpers as they do so much in the community to bring smiles to everyone’s faces during the holiday."

Her brother's display is the one on Township Road 1353. Her father's display is up next.

2. A bright spot along Baney Road 

The display at 1542 Baney Road South features none other than Santa Claus himself landing a helicopter in the front yard. 

The display is set up by Mitch Johnson, who was one of two local men to rebuild the city's iconic "Santa House."

3. Friendly Competition on Meadow Lane

Two readers asked Ashland Source to check out the displays on Meadow Lane. 

"The neighbors are competing against each other," said one, who asked to remain anonymous. 

The other, who identified herself as Melissa C., submitted a specific address. She recommends 1385 Meadow Lane. 

"I enjoy this display because it has so many different features," she said. "I especially love the lights on the roof and the small trees that line the side of the street. You can tell this display took a family effort to complete."

4. The house with infinite inflatables on Sloan Avenue 

At the intersection of Sloan Avenue and E. Bank Street, more than a dozen inflatable decorations are on display.

The inflatables include a dragon, dinosaur, a minion, the Grinch and a few Santa Clauses.

5. The swooping lights on Southwood Drive

Submitted by the homeowners themselves, the display at 1644 Southwood Drive features swooping, multicolored lights across their front yard.

"Every year for almost 20 years, we have received multiple compliments about our 'swooping' driveway lights," said the reader who submitted the display. "It has brought us great joy to know that so many people look forward to driving by our home for a little Christmas cheer.

6.  Santa's rooftop stop on Eastbrook

Santa Claus is featured on the rooftop of 1419 Eastbrook Drive. 

Drive by to catch a glimpse of the jolly man in the red suit, his reindeer and several other inflatable decorations.

7. A scene for every season at Center Lane Drive 

 This display along Center Lane Drive features a large nativity scene and several snowman-themed decorations. 

"(It) has an awesome house with blow molded snowmen and Santas. She decorates for every holiday, and we love it," a reader said.

8. The cheerful display along Cottage Street

The display at 406 Cottage Street is sure to spread Christmas cheer.

9. Holiday on Hillcrest

Located directly across from the entrance to UH Samaritan Hospital and at the corner of Hillcrest Road, this display features the Grinch pulling a string of lights from the house. 

"There's several displays to check out near the hospital," a reader said.

 10. A beautiful display at Brethren Care Village

The display at Brethren Care Village is a certainly a site to see.

Enjoy a drive through the retirement community at 2140 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805 to experience these lights.
