ASHLAND - The Ashland County Community Foundation held its 24th Annual Meeting July 29, 2019, called to order by Board Chair Ken Milligan.

The organization recognized the 6,989 donors whose generosity has made possible the reinvestment of over $15.3 million into the community by way of grants, scholarships and endowment fund distributions to benefit Ashland County students in pursuit of higher education and job skills training, as well as local non-profit and charitable agencies.

Executive Director/CEO Jim Cutright reported in his “State of the Foundation Address” that ACCF assets, as of June 30, 2019, total more than $55 million, with a remarkable 36 new endowment funds having been created in the past 12 months, bringing total funds under stewardship to 469.

He expressed praise for the leadership of the ACCF board, staff and volunteers, as well as gratitude for the donors that have made possible ACCF’s rapid growth of recent years, demonstrating the Foundation’s role as an anchor institution in the Ashland County community.

Also, Cutright revealed plans for a public celebratory event recognizing ACCF’s 25th “Silver Anniversary," to be held on August 20, 2020, which will be the culmination of several special opportunities for community impact to be unveiled in the coming months.

Retiring trustee John Miller was recognized at the meeting and will be honored at ACCF’s Annual Donor Appreciation Reception, to be held on November 12, 2019.
