Indictments - Indicted

ASHLAND -- The Ashland County Grand Jury convened for the month of January, was in session for one day and issued thirteen indictments.

All persons indicted by the Grand Jury are innocent until proven guilty.

Among those indicted were the following:

Vincent S. Beck, 52, of Ashland, is charged with aggravated possession of drugs, specifically Methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony, stemming from an investigation on Sept. 7, 2019. The case was presented by the Ashland Police Department.

Edward M. Boswell, 26, of Ashland, is charged with Aggravated Possession of Drugs, specifically Methamphetamine, a felony of the fifth degree, and illegal use or oossession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation on Jan. 3, 2020. The case was presented by the Ashland Police Department.

Jeremy S. Manson, 39, of Millersburg, is charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and possession of drugs, specifically Buprenorphine, a first-degree misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation on Sept. 16, 2019. The case was presented by the Ashland Police Department.

Shane C. Sanders, 26, of Ashland, is charged with Aggravated Possession of Drugs, specifically Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), a fifth-degree felony, stemming from a citizen’s complaint on Dec. 28, 2019. The case was presented by the Ashland Police Department.

Beckey J. Shaw, 47, of Mullica, New Jersey, is charged with Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, a third-degree felony, and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. These charges stem from a traffic stop on Dec. 20, 2019. The case was presented by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office.

Jordan William McDonald Washington, 21, of Loudonville, is charged with two counts of Intimidation, both are third-degree felonies. These charges stem from a call for a disturbance on Dec. 22, 2019. The case was presented by the Loudonville Police Department and the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office.

Vanessa L. Sweet, 36, of Ashland, is charged with Endangering Children, a fourth-degree felony, and Resisting Arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation on Jan. 1, 2020. The case was presented by the Ashland Police Department.
