ASHLAND -- Two people were arrested Monday after detectives from the Ashland Police Division and the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office assigned to the METRICH Enforcement unit executed a search warrant on Monday in the 500 block of West Main Street.

Ashland Police said Raini Moss, 25, and Macy Cunningham, 24, both of Ashland, were arrested and charged with aggravated possession of drugs. Edward Boswell, 26, Jeremy Casler, 36, Alyssa Gess, 18, and Matthew Dean, 30, all of Ashland, were charged with Falsification and cited into Ashland Municipal Court.

Ashland Police Lt. Garry Alting reported the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, drug abuse instruments, and evidence related to drug trafficking.

In a press release, Alting said the investigation began hours earlier when Ashland Police made contact with a subject on an unrelated call for service. The subject was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Follow-up in the case led officers and detectives to the West Main Street residence where a search warrant was executed.

The case is being forwarded to Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office for review regarding additional charges.
