The next election day in Richland County is the May 4 primary.

MANSFIELD -- Ashland County voters in three school districts will see contested board of education races on the Nov. 2 ballot, including Crestview, Loudonville-Perrysville and Ashland City Schools.

Here is an overview of those contested races:

Crestview Local School District

Voters have four candidates to fill two seats:

-- Bill Bolin, 5628 Olivesburg-Fitchville Road, Ashland

-- Karen Keefer, 4520 Ohio 545, Ashland

-- Lisa Music, 2160 Ohio 96, Ashland

-- Jessica Tucker, 595 Five Points Road East, Mansfield

Ashland City School District

Voters in Mifflin Township precinct "A" have six candidates to fill three seats for the district, based primarily in Ashland County.

Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village School District

Voters in Monroe Township "A" and "B" precincts have five candidates to fill five spots for the district, based primarily in Ashland County.

Shelby City School District

Voters have four candidates to fill three seats:

-- Lynn Friebel, 92 Devonshire Court, Shelby

-- Kim Nadolsky, 95 Samantha Drive, Shelby

-- Scott Rose, 54 Edgewood Drive, Shelby

Madison Local School District

Voters have four candidates to fill three seats:

-- Mary Kotterman, 2163 Lakewood Drive, Mansfield

-- Adam Porter, 1326 Bowen Road, Mansfield

-- Amy Walker, 1576 Washington North Road, Mansfield

-- Timothy Wigton, 1482 Timber Road, Mansfield
