This SUV was pulled from King Beach at Apple Valley on Sunday morning.

UPDATE: 2:11 p.m. HOWARD -- A white Ford SUV pulled from the private King Beach at Apple Valley on Sunday morning was reportedly stolen, its owner stated in a Knox County Sheriff's report.

No one was found inside the vehicle, authorities reported.

According to the sheriff's report, three deputies were dispatched to the area of King Beach on a report of a vehicle in the lake. When the deputies arrived they confirmed it was a vehicle and water rescue was initiated.

The vehicle was identified and the owner was contacted. The owner said the vehicle was last seen on May 23 at his residence. The owner said the keys had been in the vehicle.

Knox County sheriff's department personnel and crews from the Eastern Knox County Fire District were involved in the recovery. The vehicle was hauled out by a truck from Blubaugh Body and Frame. KCSO Detective Craig Feeney was on hand as well as several deputies.

Around noon a small crowd of beachgoers and assembled neighbors watched as the SUV was pulled from the water.
