Ashland Source talks the latest news in Ashland every Thursday morning at 8:30 AM on 88.9 WRDL's The Early Bird's Word.

ASHLAND -- Food and COVID-19 were among this week's topics discussed on WRDL's The Early Bird's Word.

Every Thursday while Ashland University holds in-person classes, Ashland Source reporter Tracy Leturgey highlights three local news stories in a conversation with morning show's hosts Laura Lodwick and Carrie Smith.

This week's conversation will be the last until in-person classes are expected to resume in January.

Leturgey first shared details about Thanksgiving dinner giveaways. The Ashland Kroc Center will hold its giveaway Monday evening.

She went on to highlight a new downtown restaurant, called A-Town Tap, and later spoke about how the Ashland County Health Department is using $200,000 allotted from the state.

The Early Bird's Word is recorded live every Thursday morning and posted to Ashland Source Friday.
