ASHLAND -- Every Thursday morning, Ashland Source reporter Tracy Leturgey highlights three local news stories on WRDL's The Early Bird's Word.

In this week's conversation with morning show's hosts Laura Lodwick and Carrie Smith, Leturgey discussed Ashland University President Carlos Campo's contract extension, a local jury trial that gained national attention and the upcoming election.

She also shares that though Ashland cyclist, Troy Chipka didn't break a world record last week during an attempt, he's looking forward to trying again next summer.

The Early Bird's Word is recorded live every Thursday morning and posted to Ashland Source Friday.
