ASHLAND -- The former Family Dollar located at 1117 Claremont Avenue in Ashland is expected to re-open as a Dollar Tree on Thursday, November 7, according to the company’s investor and media relations manager Kayleigh M. Painter.
When a reader recently submitted a question about the store through our Open Source platform, reporter Tracy Leturgey responded and contacted Dollar Tree to find the answer.
"When is the new Dollar tree on Claremont Avenue opening?" the reader, Marilyn asked.
"The store is currently scheduled to re-open as a Dollar Tree on Thursday, November 7," Painter responded via email.
She went on to say, “We are proud to be part of the Ashland community."
Dollar Tree stores are open seven days a week and offer a broad assortment of merchandise, priced at one dollar or less.
As of August 3, 2019, Dollar Tree operates 15,115 stores across 48 states and five Canadian provinces. Stores operate under the brands of Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree Canada.
