Elgin stumbled out of the blocks but found its stride in the second quarter of a 55-41 win over Crestline in an Ohio high school football matchup on October 2.

Elgin broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 31-28 lead over Crestline.

Crestline came from behind to grab the advantage 22-15 at intermission over Elgin.

Crestline showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 14-7 advantage over Elgin as the first quarter ended.
