Rain Snow

ASHLAND — Local weather through the Thanksgiving weekend looks cold, wet and snowy, according to a National Weather Service forecast.

Rain rolls into the Ashland area around 4 a.m. Thanksgiving morning and is predicted to stick around all day. The NWS has forecasted anywhere between a tenth and quarter inch of rain to fall. 

The high for Thanksgiving is set at 46 degrees. 

Rain is expected to mix with snow as the temperatures drop to a low of around 26 degrees on Thursday night, heading into Black Friday. 

There is a slight chance of snow showers before 1 p.m. on Friday, when NWS forecasts a partly sunny day with temperatures hanging near 33. 

The weekend is expected to be dry with temperatures ranging from the low 20s to the high 30s.

But then snow is expected to return early Sunday morning, around 1 a.m as temperatures stay around 27. 

Snow will continue to fall Sunday before 11 a.m. and then mix with rain for the rest of the day with a 30% chance of precipitation. Sunday night's temperature is expected to be around 25 degrees.
