ASHLAND — Ashland County’s Fair is winding down, but there are still several exciting attractions for fairgoers looking for a reason to attend, including several activities geared towards the community’s youth.
Friday will feature the Small Fry Car Race at 1:30 p.m. Young children will have the opportunity to race in electronic Little Tykes trucks.
It has been highly suggested the juvenile partakers follow the racing protocol and not turn the event into a demolition derby.
“The parents get so into it,” said Sandra Tunnell. “There are even trophies.
“The more participants the merrier. It only takes like 10 minutes once you are set up and registered. If you have questions, the Auxiliary Board has building where you can ask them.”
Participants can register the day of the event.
The Stock Tractor Pull is on Friday at 5 p.m.
The 4-H Dog show takes place on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Demolition Derby capping things at 6 p.m.
