ASHLAND — Ashland Ohio Pools and Spas celebrated their new location during a ribbon cutting ceremony last month on a smoldering day that beckoned for a visit to the pool.
The store, now located at 106 Hedstrom Drive, touts more than 20 years of pool and spa installation and maintenance experience.
“We are so excited about how much support we had this summer,” store manager Hollie Chance said. “New customers came to see us and Aaron (Stitzel’s) old customers that we’ve had for the past five years came to see us.
“We thank Ashland for all their support for our new business.”
The business intends to have hot-tubs available for purchase this winter. For more information on their merchandise and services, community members can visit their website.
Ashland Ohio Pools and Spas became a member of the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce in May.
“This storefront is visible from Route 42, but unless you take the time to actually stop, you would never dream of all the items they have here,” Mayor Matt Miller said. “This is a complete pool and spa store, there’s no question.
“Everyone that has worked with (Ashland, Ohio Pools and Spas) says you need to check them out.”
To celebrate their grand opening, Ashland Ohio Pools and Spas held a drawing for a signed Myles Garrett jersey.

- Monday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
