ASHLAND — The Annual Summer series of United Way of Ashland County’s popular Fun Fridays continues Friday, July 12th at Foundation Plaza, located next to Ohio Fire. This summer series is in partnership with the Ashland Public Library summer reading program. Lunch and programming will begin at approximately 11:45 am. Lunch this month will be provided by University Hospitals. The Ashland Wooster Drive In will once again be providing hot dogs and popcorn.
This summer time staple is provided by the generosity of our sponsors: Presenting Sponsor – Ashand City Schools Teacher Association, Entertainment Sponsor – BCU Electric, South Street Grille, Bo Lacey Construction, Charles River, Will O’Dell Nursey, and Bill Harris Dealership. Bringing in the Fun – Moritz Material, LSS the Good Shepard, The Inn at Ashland Woods, Sutton Bank, Gregg Orthodontics Inc, Paullin Sealcoating, Collaboration Partners, Ashland University and Akron Children’s. Food provided by The Green’s Bistro on June 9, University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center on July 7, and Buehler’s Fresh Foods on August 4, 2023. Ashland Wooster Drive in will provide hot dogs and popcorn at all three events.
The entertainment for July 12th is Magic Nate’s Gold Show and August 12th will be Mr. Jeff is Fun Music. Come enjoy lunch, entertainment, and get signed up for the APL summer reading program and all ages are welcome to the event.
Goodwill donations are appreciated and are used to buy school supplies for the Back 2 School event in August. All Fun Fridays are held at Foundation Plaza with food and entertainment beginning at 11:45am and concluding at 1:00-1:15pm. Please be sure to bring your chairs or a blanket!
