Scotty Hickey
A 6-foot senior sharpshooter, Hickey averaged 17.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.3 steals per game while connecting on 56 3-pointers. An All-Ohio honorable-mention selection in Division III, Hickey scored his 1,000th career point in Wednesday’s season opener.

Victories last year for the Mounties, the most in a season since since 1981-82. Mapleton won a sectional title and reached the district tournament for the first time since 2006-07.
OUTLOOK 🔮
Mapleton finished third in the Firelands Conference last year, its best finish since 2015. If the Mounties are to hoist their first FC banner since 1980, they must replace 1,000-point scorer and All-Ohio honorable-mention pick Kyle Sloter.
