ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in November with the Ashland County Common Pleas Court.
Indictments
The following 23 people were the subject of an indictment and have or will appear before the Ashland County Common Pleas Court:
- Ezra Amend, 45, of Jeromesville, was charged with one count of strangulation and one count of domestic violence. His charges were filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office Nov. 19, in connection with incidents authorities say happened Nov. 15 and 16.
- Edward Boswell, 31, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. His charge was filed by the Ashland Police Department Nov. 26. It came in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 24.
- Kristina M. Clady, 30, of Ashland, was charged with possession of cocaine. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charge Nov. 14, in connection with an incident authorities say took place March 10.
- Marvin Jewel Clayton, 36, of Akron, received one count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them. The Ohio State Highway Patrol filed the charge Nov. 1, in connection with an incident authorities say happened Oct. 31.
- Kevin Crouse, 54, of Shreve, was charged with one count of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. The charge was filed Nov. 22 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office. It came in connection with an incident authorities say took place Nov. 21.
- Scott Ryan Dyska, 34, of Marion, was charged with having weapons while under disability. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office filed Dyska’s charge Nov. 15, in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 12.
- Richard Friend, 32, of Polk, was charged with one count of domestic violence. The charge, filed by the Ashland Police Department Nov. 4, was connected to an incident authorities say took place Nov. 2.
- Amanda Gerber, 44, of Nashville, was charged with theft. The charge, filed by the Ashland Police Department Nov. 18, was in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 15.
- Aaron Hoover, 35, of West Salem, was charged with one count of strangulation and one count of assault. Hoover’s charges were filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office Nov. 13, in connection with incidents authorities say happened Nov. 12.
- Michael William Irons, 39, of Columbus, received one count of having weapons while under disability. His charge was filed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Nov. 12. The charge came in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 9.
- Najona Johnson, 31, of Garfield Heights, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Nov. 4. It was in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 1.
- Paul Kuhn, 39, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Nov. 7, in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 6.
- Trevor Larsen, 23, of Loudonville, was charged with robbery. The charge, filed by the Ashland Police Department Nov. 27, was in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 26.
- Tori N. Lewis, 31, of Perrysville, was charged with possession of cocaine. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charge Nov. 14. It came in connection with an incident authorities say took place March 10.
- Broc McKinney, 24, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Nov. 27. It was connected to an incident authorities say happened Nov. 26.
- Christopher C. Paisley, 56, of Loudonville, was charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. Paisley’s charge was filed by the Loudonville Police Department Nov. 22, in connection with an incident authorities say happened the same day.
- Tara Preece, 35, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office filed the charge Nov. 7. It was connected to an incident authorities say happened Nov. 6.
- Kenneth Ruble, 54, of Elyria, was charged with possession of cocaine. The charge was filed Nov. 14 by an Ashland County grand jury, in connection with an incident authorities say took place Oct. 12.
- Thomas Staton, 64, of Shelby, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge Nov. 6. It came in connection with an incident authorities say happened Nov. 4.
- Dusty Swiger, 51, of New London, was charged with theft. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charge Nov. 14, in connection with an incident authorities say happened between Sept. 24 and 26.
- Jason Underwood, 42, of Medina, was charged with one count of assault and one count of strangulation. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Nov. 20, in connection with incidents authorities say happened Nov. 19.
- Kejuan Kenshawn Williams, 21, of Woodville, Mississippi, was charged with one count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and one count of unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance. The Ohio State Highway Patrol filed the charges Nov. 8, in connection with incidents authorities say happened the same day.
- Jessica Wypasek, 38, of Sullivan, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charge Nov. 14. It came in connection with an incident authorities say happened Jan. 29.
