CANTON — Ashland’s Owen Lemon made a splash during the opening day of the state swimming and diving tournament Tuesday at C.T. Branin Natatorium.
A senior, Lemon finished 18th in the Division I one-meter diving competition with a score of 281.30. Lemon was the biggest mover of the day after qualifying 27th.
Ashland’s Altın Rowland also competed in the one-meter diving completion. The senior finished 30th with a score of 157.50.
The Division I girls diving competition will be Wednesday. Ashland’s Frankie Rupsis will be in action.
