ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in March with the Ashland County Common Pleas Court.

Indictments

The following 11 people were the subject of an indictment and have or will appear before the Ashland County Common Pleas Court: 

  • Bobby Bailey, 47, of Ashland, was charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs; one count of possession of cocaine; and one count of tampering with evidence. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges March 3, in connection to incidents authorities say happened Feb. 28.
  • Joshua Clarke, 43, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge March 18, in connection to an incident authorities say happened March 14.
  • Austin Dronebarger, 18, of Wooster, was charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office filed the charge March 24. It came in connection to an incident authorities say happened March 22.
  • Bambi Gilbert, 44, of Mansfield, was charged with three counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them. Gilbert was also charged with one count of failure to stop after an accident involving the property of others. The charges were filed March 13 by an Ashland County grand jury, in connection to incidents authorities say happened Feb. 12.
  • Dakota Hinkle, of Loudonville, was charged with strangulation. The Loudonville Police Department filed the charge March 25, in connection to an incident authorities say happened March 23.
  • Nicholas Martinelli, 23, of Sullivan, was charged with two counts of endangering children. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office filed the charges March 28. They came in connection to incidents authorities say happened March 10.
  • Isabel Massie, 21, of South Amherst, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed March 14 by an Ashland County grand jury, in connection to an incident authorities say happened Nov. 30, 2024.
  • Connor Sabrosky, 19, of Coshocton, was charged with strangulation. The Ashland Police Department filed the charge March 17. It came in connection to an incident authorities say happened Jan. 22.
  • Mahlon Schlabach, 18, of Shiloh, was charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office filed the charge March 28, in connection to an incident authorities say happened March 27.
  • Shirley Sexton, 62, of Sullivan, was charged with two counts of permitting drug abuse. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charges March 14, in connection to incidents authorities say took place between April 3, 2018, through Feb. 5.
  • Tracy Stephens, 51, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office filed the charge March 10, in connection to an incident authorities say happened March 7.
