ASHLAND — On Feb. 21, the Ashland FFA continued to celebrate National FFA Week by holding a teacher appreciation breakfast.

FFA members prepared sausage links and bacon, served Hawkins donuts and assorted juices, milk and coffee.

Thank you to Goldberry Roasting Company for donating the coffee and cups, Turk Brothers Meats for donating the sausage and bacon, and Farmers State Bank who sponsored the meal.

Ashland High School has 70 staff members who are very supportive of the chapter and the club wanted to show them how much they mean to it.

“All of our teachers are very reasonable and kind to us when we travel for trips and conventions,” the club stated in a press release. “They always help us get our assignments completed as long as we communicate with them beforehand. Thank you teachers.

“Our custodians are also very appreciated and we are very thankful for their help. As a hands-on learning class, our lessons and activities tend to be more messy and use more materials than most classes.

“Also, their dedication to their job is so appreciated because during our degree ceremonies and banquets they stay after to help us clean up.

“Finally, our principals and administrative staff are so appreciated with all their support in letting us go to competitions, conventions and leadership events. Our chapter’s success is made possible through the support of the entire Ashland High School staff.”

Th club is grateful for its’ teachers’ support.
