ASHLAND — Keaton Murphy has been chosen the Ashland Elks Teen of the Month for April.
Keaton is the son of Patrick and Elisabeth Murphy. He is a senior at Ashland County West Holmes Career Center and Ashland High School, where he is a student of the Early Childhood Education program.
Keaton participates in numerous extracurricular activities.
He is a two-year member of the Ashland County Community Foundation Impact Youth Council; FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), and the National Technical Honor Society.
His honors include being a FCCLA state qualifier, Student of the Month, and being named to the Honor Roll for each grading period.
In his spare time, Keaton works at Miller’s Hawkins Market and enjoys photography and participating in community service.
After graduation, Keaton plans on attending Ashland University and major in Social Work and minor in Pre-Law.
