Medina Buckeye finally found a way to top Rocky River 35-27 in an Ohio high school football matchup on Oct. 17.
Rocky River showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 7-0 advantage over Medina Buckeye as the first quarter ended.
The Bucks kept a 21-14 intermission margin at the Pirates’ expense.
Both teams scored evenly in the third quarter to make it 28-21.
The Bucks got the better of the final-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 7-6 edge.
