Fostering Family Ministries was honored to host Austin Ludwig for their annual Made for Home Banquet on Sept. 23rd, 2025. The main purpose of the event was to raise funds and awareness for Fostering Family Ministries to continue the work of caring for vulnerable children and families through partnerships with local churches, celebrating and affirming that children are made for home.
As part of the evening, attendees joined in on a live foster care simulation, getting just a glimpse of what the foster care system looks like. Attendees loved hearing from Austin Ludwig and his amazing testimony of God’s working in his life and foster care journey. “Austin Ludwig is a self-produced artist, speaker, and advocate for foster care, based in Atlanta, Georgia. After enduring fifteen years of abuse and trauma, Austin spent his formative years in the foster care system, aging out at 18. Amidst the brokenness of his past, Austin experienced the transformative love of Jesus, finding healing and restoration through the gospel.”
Thanks to generous donors and supporters, FFM raised over $85,000 from the Made for Home campaign. This is a great start to their $125,000 year end goal.
