Jeffrey David Robinson, 69

Jeffrey David Robinson, 69 of Hinckley, formerly of Ashland passed from this life on Friday morning, November 14, 2025 in University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center after a courageous and hard fight.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.       2 Timothy 4:7-8

Jeffrey David Robinson was born on October 20, 1956 in Ashland the son of the late David Edward and Lavona Mae (nee LaRue) Robinson, who precedes him.

Jeff graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1974. He furthered his education, attending automobile mechanic school. Jeff retired after many years from Simonson Construction where he was a finishing carpenter. During his retirement years, he worked at Home Depot as a millwork specialist.

Growing up in Ashland, Jeff attended First Christian Church. Throughout his life he enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Markus Robinson of Hinckley; his sister, Janet “Jan” Robinson of Ashland; two brothers, Philip (Sharon) Robinson of Louisville, Kentucky and Steven (Michelle) Robinson of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews; many friends; and his feline companions, Sheldon and Simon.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Pate presiding. Interment will follow in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
