Robert L. Stoffer age 81 of Shiloh, passed away on November 26, 2025 at University Hospitals Samaritan Health Center.
Born in Ashland County on September 9, 1944 the son of Gene and Marjorie (Fike) Stoffer, he had been a resident of Ashland and Richland county all of his life.
Robert had been employed at AK Steel for 30 years, before his retirement. He was a member of Faith Church. He loved to work, taking care of his residence, gardening and working outside. He also enjoyed helping at Faith Church in whatever capacity was needed. He was everyones “handyman” who was also a contractor and plumber.
On August 7, 1993 Robert was married to Dorothy (Dottie) Carson who survives.
In addition to his wife Dottie, he is survived by four children: Jeff (Robin) Stoffer of Pensicola, Florida, Tammi Russell of Mt. Gilead, Laura (Earl) Bedocs of Ashland and Jim (Amy) Freewalt of St. Mary’s, Ohio.
Nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive. He is also survived by two siblings: Doug (Linda) Stoffer and Evelyn Stephan, both of Mansfield.
Preceding him in death are his parents, son-in-law, Jeff Russell, and granddaughter Hanah Russell.
A Celebration of Roberts life will be held at a later date at the Faith Church.
