Jennifer L. Morano, 56 of Ashland passed from this life on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in her home with her husband at her side following a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
She was born on January 22, 1969 in Ashland the daughter of Vernon Brewer Jr. and Linda (nee Kaufman) Butler.
Jen graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1987. She was employed at Kno-Ho-Co Headstart as a kitchen aide for many years.
She married the love of her life, Carmen Morano on July 3, 2012; a relationship that started five years earlier in 2007.
Family and friendship were the most important things in Jen’s life. She enjoyed fishing, hunting morel mushrooms, hiking and long walks with Carmen and the occasional date night. Carmen and Jen traveled many miles on their Harley Davidson.
Jen is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Carmen Morano of Ashland; two step children, Ana and Austin Morano of Ashland; one expected step granddaughter in March of 2026; her mother, Linda (Mel) Butler of Ashland; six siblings, Kim Brewer Kah, Kelly Sparacio, Michelle Scurlock, Wendy Brewer, Jeff Brewer, and Brian Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Brewer Jr. who passed away on June 29, 2006.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Trudy Bates, Celebrant presiding. Interment will follow in the Dickey Cemetery. Friends and family may visit two hours prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
