I remember when Hillsdale was known for its wonderful band and the greatest band director of all time Steve Taylor. Our football teams record was something like 0-10…but the community never stopped coming to games. My son’s team for four years was a true beginning of a turn around when Trevor Cline was just a quarterback leading the team to the playoffs but not quite making the championship game. The journey continued as Trevor became the coach and a new stadium was built. Trevor managed a team to the championship against a very difficult team to beat…Marion Local … a football team with the longest victory streak in the nation. For the second year in a row you are having a championship game at the hall of fame with an opportunity to finally bring it home (and Marion Local is out). This is your chance to finish the journey and you have all my hopes and prayers. Win…and win with class and humility like the Hillsdale Community emulates. The Hillsdale community deserves it. Let’s go Falcons!
