The first quarter gave Dover a 9-5 lead over Ashland.
The Tornadoes registered a 20-13 advantage at intermission over the Arrows.
Dover moved to a 34-24 lead heading into the final quarter.
The Arrows rallied in the fourth quarter, but the Tornadoes skirted trouble with just enough offense to thwart all hopes.
Last time Ashland and Dover played in a 58-42 game on Dec. 28, 2024.
In recent action on Dec. 5, Dover faced off against Lexington and Ashland took on Clyde on Dec. 6 at Clyde High School.
