ASHLAND — Xavier Gehrisch is the Ashland Elks Teen of the Month for December.
He is the son of Beth and Kris Gehrisch and is a senior at Heartland Technical Education Center.
Xavier’s academic accolades include being a member and Officer of the National Technical Honor Society, Honor Roll, Scholar Athlete, and being enrolled in all College Credit Plus academic coursework.
Gehrisch is a three-year Ashland high school baseball player, varsity golfer and Skills USA member. He is also a member of the Choir; and Criminal Justice Class President.
Outside of school, Xavier volunteers for many Ashland area events, including security at the Ashland County Fair and helping in setting up for the annual Veterans Day event at the Ashland Airport.
In Xavier’s spare time he enjoys golfing, umpiring youth baseball, bow shooting, and spending time with friends and family.
After graduation, Xavier plans on attending college, with interest in Criminal Justice. His long-term goal is to become a member of the U.S. Marshals Service.
