NEW LONDON — Firelands Electric Cooperative has announced the winners of The A Team drawing for the month of December.
Macey King, daughter of Brett and Jamie King, is in the eighth grade at Plymouth-Shiloh Middle School. Ruby Young, an eighth grader at Hillsdale Middle School, is the daughter of Seth and Teresa Young. Corbin Sweet, son of Jason and Jessica Sweet, is in the eighth grade at Mapleton Middle School.
Sponsored by Firelands Electric, The A Team recognizes students in grades 6 to 8 who had a minimum of three A’s on a recent report card. Applicants must also reside in a home served by the co-op.
Students who submit a qualifying report card are entered into a drawing held at the conclusion of each grading period.
Three winners are randomly selected at each drawing to receive a $15 pre-paid Mastercard and be recognized in Ohio Cooperative Living magazine and on Firelands’ website and social media outlets.
