Kimberly K. Simmons, age 61 of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on December 23, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton.
Born in Ashland on July 26, 1964, the daughter of Marvin F. and Nancy L. (Brewer) she had been a resident of Ashland for most of her life. She had been employed at Lyn Way Restaurant in the past, where she was known for her dedication and warm presence. Kimberly was a grandmother to seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Marvin “Dink” (Shirley “Sweet Pea”) Simmons, Karen Pryor, and Tammy Simmons.
Surviving are sons: Justin Gerwig of Ashland, Tyler (Maggie) Welch of Shreve, Robert (Tanya) Welch of Massillon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin F. and Nancy L.(Brewer) Simmons
A Celebration of Kimberly’s life will be held on January 17th from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at Ashland Social, followed by a spiritual meditation by Lady Luna 1:30p.m. to 2:30p.m. 85 Amberwood Parkway Unit E, Ashland Ohio 44805.
