ASHLAND – The Big Bands & All That Jazz Society will host a concert by Cleveland Jazz Orchestra trumpeter Jack Schantz and his octet, the Jazz Unit, will be in Ashland on Monday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. at the King Road Christian Church at 1425 King Road.
Joining the octet for this performance will be featured vocalist Barbara Rosene.
Jack Schantz, a long-time musician in the Cleveland area, and current jazz ensemble director at Ashland University, leads this fine ensemble of musicians for the 38th season of great jazz in Ashland.
Donations will be accepted at the door and offer memberships to assist in keeping this music alive and well.
