OLIVESBURG — The rubber match is set.
Crestview earned a No. 4 seed in Sunday’s Division VI tournament draw and will open the postseason against a familiar foe.
The Cougars (10-10) will visit No. 3 New London (11-8) at 6 p.m. on Feb. 27 for a rubber match between the Firelands Conference rivals.
The teams split their regular season meetings, each winning on its home floor. The Wildcats won the first meeting 63-53 in December. The Cougars turned the tables in the rematch, winning 72-55 in mid-January.
Mapleton and Loudonville will compete in the Division VI northeast district tournament and both will open on the road.
The 27th-seeded Mounties (2-17) will visit No. 5 Lake Center Christian for a sectional final at 7 p.m. February. 26.
No. 31 Loudonville (1-20) is at No. 9 Richmond Heights at 7 p.m. Feb. 26.
Division VII
Hillsdale (13-7) earned the No. 5 seed in the Division VII northeast district tournament. The Falcons will host No. 24 Sebring McKinley for a sectional championship at 7 p.m. Feb. 26.
Division II
Ashland will find out its postseason fate this weekend. The Division I and Division II draw is set for Sunday.
