LOUDONVILLE – The Loudonville Farmers Market will soon return to Central Park for another  summer season, with opening day set for Saturday, May 30.

The market runs every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon through the end of September with the exception of July 4.

Vendor applications for the 2026 season are now open. Organizers are seeking local  farmers, artisans, food trucks, bakers, and vendors offering unique goods to help create a  diverse and lively market each week.

The first round of vendors will be approved shortly  after March 15, though applications will continue to be accepted throughout the season as  space allows.

Over the past several years, the Farmers Market has become one of Loudonville’s most  popular summer traditions.

What began as a simple gathering of local producers has grown  into a vibrant Saturday morning destination in the heart of the village.

Each week, Central  Park fills with families picking up fresh produce, neighbors lingering over coffee, children  playing lawn games, and visitors browsing handmade crafts and specialty foods.

Live  music and casual games have helped create what many describe as a true “third space”  for the community — a welcoming place to gather outside of work and home.

The market’s impact extends beyond Loudonville residents.

With thousands of visitors  traveling to the Mohican area each weekend during the summer months, the market offers  local producers a valuable opportunity to connect with both returning customers and new  audiences discovering the village for the first time.

The Loudonville Farmers Market is entirely volunteer-operated, and vendor fees are  intentionally kept low and straightforward.

The goal is simple: support area growers and  makers while strengthening community connections throughout the summer season.

More  information for vendors and visitors, including vendor guidelines and applications, is  available at loudonvilleffa.com/market. Organizers encourage interested vendors to apply early as interest in the market continues to grow each year.
