ASHLAND — It’s time to wear green and clean.
Ashland’s annual St. Patrick’s Day walking parade is set for Saturday at 11 a.m., according to city officials. The parade will begin at Foundation Plaza and travel up Main Street to Corner Park.
Once at Corner Park, city officials, along with a group of Ashland children, will dye Center Run creek green for the day. Mayor Matt Miller earlier in March said the creek will be dyed green again on St. Patrick’s Day.
Ashland children ages 5 through 18 have an opportunity to help the mayor and other city officials dye the creek. The city recently launched a coloring contest for children in this age group to complete and submit for a chance to help in the festivities.
Those interested in entering the contest can download the designated coloring page here.
Participants are encouraged to use their creativity to complete the coloring page, which must be submitted to Miller’s office, 206 Claremont Ave., by March 12 at 4 p.m. The page may also be scanned and emailed to furman.amanda@ashland-ohio.com.

When is ‘Spring Cleanup’ 2026?
