The Ashland Symphony Orchestra will present “Paddington Bear’s First Concert” at its annual Young People’s Concert on Saturday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at the Robert M. & Janet L. Archer Auditorium, 1440 King Rd., Ashland.

This free family concert will open with two movements from Serge Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony.

The highlight of the concert will be Paddington Bear’s First Concert narrated by Ashland University students Lauren Gulden and Owen Radebaugh. The audience will follow Paddington on adventures through different styles of music performed by the orchestra.

Paddington Bear’s First Concert is made possible by a grant from the IMPACT Youth Council of the Ashland County Community Foundation.

Children of all ages are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffy with them to the concert.

Preconcert activities will take place in the lobby from 2 to 2:45 p.m. and include the instrument petting zoo and an opportunity to make your own “Please take care of this bear” tag for your stuffy and to stamp your own passport.

The concert will start promptly at 3 p.m. and is approximately one hour long. The concert and activities are free and do not require tickets or reservations.
