ASHLAND — The Ashland Youth Baseball & Softball Association is accepting registrations for its coed T-ball (ages 4 to 6), baseball and softball (kindergarten through eighth grade) leagues through April 1.
All registrations are online at www.aybsa.org, where full descriptions and FAQs are available on all the different types of leagues.
Half- and full-sponsorship opportunities also are available, with more details on the website.
Some of the details and changes to know for this summer include:
* 10-week seasons from May through July.
* Grade-based, drafted teams for baseball and softball.
* Single-elimination tournaments for baseball and softball.
* Smaller teams, more at-bats and more defensive opportunities for T-ball.
* Fewer Friday and weekend games.
