Dixie L. Scott, 84 of Ashland passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2026, in Brethren Care Village.
She was born on October 31, 1941, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Marshall and Geneva (nee Eckleberry) Scott.
Dixie graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1959.
She married the love of her life, Reuben B. Scott, on July 7, 1960.
Dixie retired after more than 22 years from National Latex Company in 1972.
She is survived by two sons, Bob Scott of Columbus and Marshall Ruben Scott of Largo, Florida; and one daughter, Tina Scott of Columbus.
In addition to her parents, Dixie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years of marriage, Reuben who passed away on September 1, 2004; one infant daughter, Robin Diane Scott; and three brothers, Rick, Dean, and Dick Rannels.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Don Earlenbaugh presiding. Interment will follow in Southview Sullivan Cemetery. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
