ASHLAND — Ashland Source reporter Dillon Carr stopped by the WRDL Studios on Thursday, Nov. 17 for the publication’s weekly segment on The Early Bird’s Word.
Carr talked about three of Ashland Source’s stories he’s worked on over the last week.
The first story was about farm animals that were removed by federal and local agencies in an alleged neglect and abuse case.
Agencies removed 16 horses that had feces piled high in stalls, along with six goats and several cats and dogs.
The next story was about city council approving a rezone request that will allow a Mansfield developer to build two-family condominiums on around 60 acres of farmland located near the intersection of Smith and Baney roads.
And the final story was about the city’s latest effort to get a section of Claremont Avenue repaved. The city is seeking bids for the $5.4 million project that will likely get started in the spring of 2023.
