ASHLAND — It’s November, and that means people are getting into the holiday spirit.
Before you deck the halls, make sure to visit one or all of the several craft shows happening around the county this month. The shows start this weekend.
Below is a list of all the shows happening across the county, along with some other holiday-themed events.
Saturday, Nov. 12
Hillsdale High School will host its 48th annual Hillsdale Arts and Crafts Festival from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be over 100 vendors setting up shop. For more information, call 419-368-6841 or email artsandcrafts@hillsdalelocalschools.org.
The Ashland Christian Health Center will host its annual Christmas décor sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be “gently used and greatly treasured Christmas items” that will be available for sale. Lunch will also be available for purchase. Click here for more information.
Sunday, Nov. 13
Ashland City Schools will host a craft show at its middle school from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission to the event is free, but the show will feature a $5 VIP hour from 10 to 11 a.m. The VIP admission will allow people to shop the gift items before the event starts. Those with VIP tickets will also get two raffle tickets to use at vendor tables. Click here for more information.
Saturday, Nov. 19
The Ashland County Fairgrounds will host its annual Vendor/Craft Extravaganza at Mozelle Hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be vendors, a food truck and a 50/50 drawing. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Friday, Nov. 25 (Black Friday)
Locust Hill Home, a farm in Ashland, will host its Christmas on the Farm starting Nov. 25. It will continue through the weekend, wrapping up on Nov. 27. The farm will have “furniture, authentic vintage items, handmade Christmas decorations and home décor” for sale. Click here for more information.
Ashland Main Street organized a Holiday Shop Hop for downtown Ashland businesses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will continue Nov. 26 and Dec. 3. There will be various deals and promotions at the several stores and restaurants. Click here for more details.
Uniontown Brewery will host an Arts Festival and Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The brewpub will have various art pieces available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. Cat House Feline Sanctuary partnered with Uniontown, so expect goodies from them to be available too. Click here for more information.
Saturday, Nov. 26
If crafts aren’t your thing and guns are, check out the Norris Gun Show happening at the Ashland County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The Ashland Symphony Orchestra will host its annual Family Holiday Pops at Ashland High School’s Archer Auditorium from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $5 and climb up to $24.
