ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in August with Ashland County Court of Common Pleas.
There were also two cases closed in August.
Indictments
The following 16 people were the subject of an indictment and have or will appear before the Ashland County Court of Common Pleas:
- William Acker Crim, 23, of Ashland, was charged with two counts of unlawful conduct with a minor. The charges were filed Aug. 25 by the Ashland Division of Police in connection to incidents authorities say happened between November 1, 2022 and Aug. 24, 2023.
- Troy Beck, 44, of Ashland, was charged with complicity, possession of fentanyl-related compound and possessing criminal tools. The charges were filed Aug. 11 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 21.
- Rolando Javier Colon, 31, of Lancaster, Pa., was charged with improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and possessing a defaced firearm. Charges were filed Aug. 1 by Ohio State Highway Patrol in connection to an incident authorities say happened July 29.
- Tovah Dunn, 44, of Parma, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound. The charge was filed Aug. 11 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened July 8.
- Marissa Gallo, 26, of Hayesville, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and endangering children. The charges were filed Aug. 10 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection to incidents authorities say happened between July 1 and July 17.
- Dakota Hill, 24, of Canton, was charged with failure to comply to order or signal of a police officer. The charge was filed Aug. 14 by Ohio State Highway Patrol in connection to an incident authorities say happened Aug. 11.
- Lainie Hill, 29, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed Aug. 10 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened May 24 and May 25.
- Russell Huffman, 41, of Ashland, was charged with theft from a person in a protected class and unauthorized use of computer, cable, or telecommunications property. The charges were filed Aug. 17 by the Ashland Police Department in connection to incidents authorities say happened Aug. 13 through Aug. 14.
- Dana Kincade, 47, of Bucyrus, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and misdemeanor theft. The charges were filed Aug. 31 by the Ashland Police Department in connection to incidents authorities say happened Aug. 30.
- Andrew Marshall, 34, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed Aug. 10 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 21.
- James Richardson, 36, of Detroit, Michigan, was charged with being a fugitive from justice. The charge was filed Aug. 15 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection with an incident authorities say happened between Oct. 23, 2019, to Aug. 8. His case was closed Aug. 25.
- Kenneth Roberts, 43, of Ashland, was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The charge was filed Aug. 24 by the Ashland Police Department in connection to incidents authorities say happened between July 3, 2021, and Aug. 21.
- Nicole Roberts, 42, of Ashland, was charged with complicity and possessing drug abuse instruments. The charges were filed Aug. 10 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection to incidents authorities say happened April 21.
- Lonie Scott, 70, of Ashland, was charged with possession of cocaine. The charge was filed Aug. 10 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened June 23.
- Christopher Tracy, 28, of Mansfield, was charged with breaking and entering, grand theft of a motor vehicle, theft and grand theft. The charges were filed Aug. 14 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to incidents authorities say happened Aug. 11.
- Jordan Tracy, 22, of Columbus, was charged with breaking and entering, grand theft of a motor vehicle, theft and grand theft. The charges were filed Aug. 14 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to incidents authorities say happened Aug. 11.
- Linda Wood, 71, of Jeromesville, was charged with being a fugitive of justice. The charge was filed Aug. 15 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection with an incident authorities say happened between Dec. 19, 2003, to Aug. 14. The case was dismissed on Aug. 17.
- Robert Dale Yoho, 32, of Wooster, was charged with two counts of domestic violence, one count of strangulation and one count of endangering children. The charges were filed Aug. 18 by the Loudonville Police Department in connection to incidents authorities say happened Aug. 17.
Closed cases
The following sentences were given during August.
- James Richardson, 36, of Detroit, Michigan, was extradited back to Michigan after being charged with an extradition charge on Aug. 15 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office. His case was closed Aug. 25 by judge David Stimpert.
- Linda Wood, 71, of Jeromesville, had a case dismissed on Aug. 17. Court records show Wood was charged with check fraud in December 2003.
