Linda Lou Pauly, 84

Linda Lou Pauly, 84 of Ashland passed away Sunday evening, September 22, 2024 in the Kingston of Ashland following a brief illness.

She was born in Ashland on January 8, 1940, the daughter of the late John Avery and Opal Marie (nee Edington) Motter.

Linda graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1958.

She married David Pauly on January 7, 1984.

Linda retired after more than 25 years from the National Latex Company in 1995.

Throughout her life, she loved to play bingo and cards. She also bowled for many years on the ladies’ league at King Lanes in Ashland. Linda loved her canine companions, Bailey and Lani. She enjoyed cooking, but most of all adored her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Nina Dehmel of Ashland, Brenda (Scott) Hershey of West Salem, and Susie (Todd) Snyder of Ashland; one son, James “Rusty” (Charlotte) Walsh Jr. of Polk; eight grandchildren, Mandi Kline, Adam Moody, Raini Hershey, Cierra Hershey, Lindsay Bates, Nick (Heather) Drushel, Tara (Robert) Paramore, and Brian Walsh; one brother, Philip (Joy) Motter of Nankin; and numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, David Pauly who passed away on March 29, 2018; four sisters, Janet (Earl) Keener, Norman (Windle) Johnson, Phylis (Larry) Fitzgerald, and JoAnn (Jack) Hecker.

Interment services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in the Ashland Cemetery with Trudy Bates presiding.
