PERRYSBURG — Four Ashland wrestlers punched their tickets to the Division I state meet during the final day of action Saturday at the rugged Perrysburg district tournament.

The Arrows finished third in the final team standings with 106.5 points. Perennial powerhouse Lakewood St. Edward won the district title with 344 points. Perrysburg (291) was runner-up.

Ashland 144-pounder Guardian Miller and Drayston Martin (215) led the way with third-place finishes. Max Ohl (113) and Mason Bauer (126) were fourth.

The top four finishers in each weight class qualified for state.

Miller was 4-1 on the weekend with two tech falls and two pins. He improved to 46-5.

Like Miller, Martin was 4-1. He ran his record to 46-6.

Ohl was 3-2 on the weekend and is 41-10 on the season. Bauer was 4-2 for the tournament, improving to 47-7.
