ASHLAND — I popped into WRDL Thursday morning and had a chance to chat with Ashland University students about two recent stories.
One focused on an ongoing collaboration between Ashland City Schools and the city to put a park where Lincoln Elementary School formerly stood.
Ashland Source Reporter Dillon Carr and I have each covered those plans, as both city council and the school board must take action on the sale of the property.
The city approved that sale at its most recent meeting on March 4, and it’s set to be an agenda item at the board of education’s next meeting, which falls on March 24.
The WRDL hosts and I also had a chance to chat about the latest Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce award winners.
Those awards were distributed last week. Seven local businesses and four individuals received honors.
